Abstract
In this current time, many patients complain of shoulder dislocation and instability with various labral lesions. It is important to diagnose the precise pathological lesion with physical examination and radiological evaluation. It is also important to consider the patient¡¯s factors such as occupation, sports activity before decision of treatment. With development of arthroscopic treatment, there is no significant difference in the result of labral repair between arthroscopic surgery and open surgery. The decision making of operatative procedure should be a deliberate process with consideration for location and size of lesion, direction and duration of instability, open or arthroscopic approach, bony deficiency, and patient¡¯s demands.
